Kayaking half-day trip in Turquoise Bay on Roatan's north shore
Your experienced guide will provide you with life vests and snorkel gear and
explain basic paddling techniques for your sit-on-top style kayak before you
set off on your adventure. Kayaking will be on the quiet north shore of
Roatan in the calm water behind the barrier reef along the deserted beaches
and mangroves.
After an hour of kayaking, you may tie off the kayaks onto a mooring where
you can do some snorkeling on the spectacular coral reef. Or you may choose
to carry on paddling or go to land to enjoy the beach. You'll have time to
relax on the beach. Soft drinks and beer etc. may be purchased after
kayaking at the beach bar.
Kayakers of all abilities are welcome to experience the beauty, the nature
and the fun of this half-day trip. However, you must be reasonably fit and a
good swimmer for this moderately strenuous excursion.
