Visit
the Magnificent Cayos Cochinos Islands
In a one hours
boat ride you reach a small group of islands nestled away in miles of
undisturbed coral reef. Pristine mountains rising from the sea, majestically
poised just beyond delicate sand cays. Scenes of unparalleled Caribbean
beauty.
We offer
sightseeing, snorkeling and diving trips or a combination of all.
5 miles before Cayos Cochinos we do
our first dive on one of 3 Sea Mounts. The mounts come to about 40 feet to
the surface and are the size of football fields. The mounts offer the
biggest schools of fish in the Bay Islands.
After lunch on Cochino Grande we
take a
nature trail through the tropical rainforest to a lookout for spectacular
views of the rainforest and surrounding islands.
The second dive is on Pelican
Point.
Private charter $ 650 with up to 5 people.
Additional people $ 50 per person extra.
Includes two dives or snorkeling and lunch, dive equipment not included. |

Visit Roatan's wrecks on our special three tank wreck day. We will leave
from Brick Bay on the south side at 8 am and head to the north side of the island. First
we will dive Roatan’s newest wreck the 300-foot freighter called Odyssey.
The ship is massive, 300 feet from bow to stern, 50 feet wide and 85 feet
tall.
The second one will be El Aguila also on the north side. When El
Aguila was sunk it was in one piece, but Hurricane Mitch broke it into 3
pieces. Now there are lots of extra nooks and crannies for fish and divers
to investigate.
We will enjoy lunch under the palm trees on the turquoise water of Tabyana
Beach.
On the way back we have the chance for a little snorkeling in Dixon Cove,
between Coxen Hole and French Harbour on the south shore. There are 2
partially submerged wrecks there that have been around since the 70s. Not
deep enough to be a wreck dive, it’s still a great snorkel.
After a quick stop back at the shop to grab new tanks, we will head to the
Island Fueler, sunk in the channel near Little French Cay. This one is a
wreck-lovers wreck, with doors still attached, low visibility and an overall
spooky feeling. Since the ship used to carry fuel for Roatan, there are huge
tanks and pipelines and very cool hardware everywhere.
Dive Trip $ 110
Includes three dives and lunch, tanks and weights
5 people minimum
