island- style getaway. Completed in 2000, designed by renowned architect Hal Sorrenti, this beautiful waterfront villa reflects the lifestyle of the island,
with hard-wood and terra-cotta floors. The property is situated on nearly two
acres of waterfront estate on the un-spoiled north shore, on a bluff overlooking
the turquoise-blue waters of the lagoon and nearby reef. Centerpiece of the
house is the large dining area open on all four sides to enjoy the beautiful
surroundings as well as the ever constant cooling breezes
Fuego
del Mar offers three bedrooms, each with dressing area and bathrooms. For a
larger group, a sleeping loft, ideal for teenagers (up to three) is located in
the connected tower block. It offers a shower, toilet and hand basin. The master
suite has a huge private deck overlooking the sea, with a stone-walled outdoor
shower. The master has a huge bathtub for soaking after a day in the sun or on
the water. The master has a television set with satellite connection. There are
two guest toilets, one in the pool area which also has an adjacent shower room.
Both guest bedrooms face the sea, with incredible views and have a deck leading
to the infinity pool which sits on a cliff fronting the house. The very large
pool deck is equipped with loungers and pool floats and has a built-in stainless
steel grill. The great room is delightfully furnished using artisan antiques
from Guatemala. It is equipped with satellite television, stereo and VCR. The
kitchen is furnished with stainless steel Viking appliances, including an
ice-maker. The house has a fully equipped laundry with washer and dryer. The
house is equipped with a computer offering high speed broadband internet access.
The
property has twenty four hour presence by one of our staff, for your security
and enjoyment. A maid, three days a week is included.
Do as little or as much as you want. Subway
Watersports offers private dive courses or dive charters. Get certified in
the water in front of the property, or if already certified dive to your heart’s
content on the second largest barrier reef system in the world. For non-divers
there is a boat available for rent with a boatman. We have a permanent mooring
on the exquisite reef, three hundred yards off-shore. Snorkel in crystal clear
waters teeming with marine life. You can also snorkel right off of our boat dock
on a beautiful coral formation. Go fishing outside the reef for game fish.
Water-ski or kayak in the lagoon. Relax in or around the infinity pool, in the
palm-roofed palapa amidst a running stream and tropical vegetation or retire to
a quite spot in one of the hammocks.
Rates
Fuego del Mar rents for $2,700 a week for up to
six persons. Rates are higher for Easter week and Christmas/ New Year week. The
vehicle (New Silverado extended cab) seats up to six in the cab rents for $400
per week.
Diving
Our dive
shop at Turquoise Bay Resort is only 10 driving minutes away from Fuego
del Mar. Our dive boat can pick you up on your dock.

Good for up to 6 passengers or 4 divers. $ 190 per day
Mary Jane a 25 ft fiberglass
skiff with a 60 hp 4-stroke Mercury outboard. Good for up to 10
passengers or 8 divers. $ 220 per day Moya
24 ft fiberglass skiff with a 90 hp 4-stroke Mercury outboard.Good for up to 10 passengers or 8 divers. $ 250 per day
The
boat comes with a captain and gas is included. Charter a
boat for 6 days and pay for 5.
You can use the boats for sightseeing,
fishing, snorkeling or waterskiing (Moya only)
If you want to go
diving the following extra charges apply: dive tank rental $ 10, nitrox $ 13 divemaster
$ 8 per dive/person (minimum charge $ 50 per day)
